The namesake: Zuzu
Our name is no accident. Zuzu is a friendly little dachshund who walks between the tables every day like a good host, asks for attention, accepts a stroke, and makes sure nobody leaves without a smile. She is exactly the reason Zuzu became a truly pet-friendly café: your dog is our guest too – there are treats on the counter, because every good dog deserves a bite or two.
What we serve
There is quality and care in every bite. From early morning you can choose from our freshly baked pastries, creamy desserts, filling brunch dishes, sandwiches and salads – and of course from our coffee specialities. And our coffee is specialty grade.
The atmosphere
Zuzu feels like home – from the design down to the smallest detail. Our mugs, for example, are all handmade, and no two of them are alike. Inside there are comfortable corners, a gallery upstairs, and a pleasantly shaded little terrace in front of the entrance. Heroes Square and the City Park are not far either, so if you are in the neighbourhood, it is easy to drop in for a slow, coffee-scented break.
Here since the spring of 2025
Zuzu opened in Angyalföld in the spring of 2025. We have been here every day since – with fresh coffee, pastries and a good dose of calm. It is lovely to see more and more of you stopping by for a slow break.
